The first thing you need to know about David Chambers is that he’s a storyteller. He has a background in teaching and incorporates learning through story into his practice. David completed his formal education at the University of Texas where he holds a BS in education and a Master’s degree in social work (MSSW).
David works with individuals and couples and leads an anger management group. He pulls from a variety of therapeutic methodologies to support his clients with identity work, relationships, acceptance and commitment, grief, anxiety, religious trauma, and more.
David often pulls from multimedia like books, videos, or images to facilitate an interactive therapy environment that is accessible and engaging. He draws from his thousands of hours of academic and clinical training, and from his own extensive history of self-work to share both researched and personal wisdom. He is always curious, evolving, and teachable. David is a keen listener and a passionate advocate for his clients. He is an ally and welcomes individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community.
David is a world explorer who greatly enjoys traveling and hiking with his family. He is always down for a Star Wars or Marvel marathon and you will likely find him watching F1 racing on the weekends.
